Maritim Hotels' anniversary
High Quality Germany Service
In 2019 we celebrate Maritim Hotels' anniversary- 50 years of combining High Quality Germany Service with all the Comforts of Home
While it may be common in some hotels to serve food that comes from various nations, it is quite another thing to research your guests’ hometown favorites and serve those specialties as part of their home away from home. For family-owned hotel chain Maritim, it is a standard operating procedure for distinguished guests, meetings and events. When combined with all the other details that Maritim attends to during a guest’s visit, this effort sets Maritim in a class by itself.
Maritim Hotels has always been a marquis address for major European and German events. Whether put together a year in advance or compressed into a three or four week turnaround, meetings at Maritim mean flawless behind-the-scenes execution, personalized service and surprised and delighted meeting planners.
On the catering side, meeting planners can custom-tailor their menus to showcase locally grown, organic fare, gluten- and lactose-free options, and comfort foods of their choice. To experience Berlin food flair, for example, meeting planners with events at either of Maritim’s two Berlin properties can select Berlin cuisine such as Cutlets of Havellands Apple Pork or Calf Liver “Berlin Style”. In Munich, the experience becomes completely different with a full Bavarian spread including white sausages, sweet mustard and pretzels. An automobile dealer client of ours recently revved their trip to Munich this way, before they drove to explore BMW World and other auto-related attractions in Germany.
What’s more, Maritim essentially serves as “one-stop planning support” for planners who want to combine their hotel and meeting space with unique venues within the region. Not only can Maritim recommend venues that support the meeting planner’s goals, but it can even cater events in off-property locations as the chain has its own catering company. For example, meeting planners in Frankfurt can arrange a party at the Schloss Vollrads, the home of the German Wine Society. While staying at the Maritim Hotel Titisee in the Black Forest, they can arrange teambuilding exercises that require attendees to build their own raft and then get aboard for a sail.
