Effective April 28, the Lufthansa Group expands its fare portfolio for short- and medium-haul flights with a new entry-level fare for travel starting May 19: The Economy Basic fare is introduced gradually on select routes. It complements the existing offering and can be booked with the airlines of the Lufthansa Group—Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines, Lufthansa City Airlines, and Air Dolomiti — via digital sales channels such as the airlines’ websites and NDC channels.
